The leather cuff is dyed a dark brown color, which brings out the many naturally occurring marks on the surface of the leather. Incorporating the natural markings of the leather hide is what gives each of my leather cuffs their own unique character. A single, striped agate stone bead sewn into the leather band, provides a sharp contrast to the distressed texture of the leather. The bead also adds a feminine quality to the cuff. The shape of this bracelet gently tapers off at the ends. An antiqued bronze metal stud and punched hole are used to fasten the cuff in place.
Over time, as you wear this leather cuff, the leather will become softer and it will darken, giving it a fabulous broken in, aged look.
All of my leather jewelry is hand cut, hand sewn and hand assembled which may account for slight imperfections. I like to think it gives each piece its own unique character, to indicate that this leather cuff was crafted by hand.
